The Maxwell Lectures are a series of talks given by members of the scientific community to promote current research, industry advancements and science communication. Each talk is pitched to the physics community but covers a range of topics suited to anyone with an interest in science. The Maxwell Lectures came into existence in the 1950's as a way to bring all members of the physics department together and have become a firm tradition of the society. Whether you are a student, staff member, or general public, if you are interested, please do feel free to come and join us for an hour!
